I believe the first level prepares you’re body for its new purpose, it cleanses your aura and clears out debris from your mental physical and spiritual bodies. These are contained in your aura and physical self. The second level strengthens your newfound energy and gives you symbols to help give the right kind of healing energy to your self and others. The practitioners level also goes with this so ethics of its uses and how to go out and help others have to be learnt and understood. Again the changes to your body in all levels will show themselves but not so dramatically as the first. I believe this level should be used for a longer period before the third level given, especially if the recipient isn't’t a natural born healer.

I also believe that there are some of us who are born with a higher stage of energy already going through us, and these you may call natural born healers.

I have found that some people who are close to an energy giver, I’m never sure how people react to the healer, often find themselves heating up and over a period of time although may not be interested in their capabilities, may need to have the first degree attunement just to aid their energies development for themselves. It also helps to ground their energy and stop that over heating feeling.

The third level or masters degree is something that shouldn’t be taken likely. The depth of what you are enabling you’re self to do must be thought about over a long period of time. It must be understood that Reiki attunes you to a different world; one you may find difficult to deal with as you’re current world won’t feel as if you fit in. I urge people not to go that far if they don’t want great changes of every aspect of their whole being. If there’s any doubt stay at the second level until you’re sure. There are some very good healers out there on the second level. If it’s a tool to use with maybe other therapies like reflexology or massage then level two is suffice. The symbols or keys given with the third level open you up to the whole new world of energy. The universe will send you everything you need as you grow with in the forces. You will still need healing every so often and self healing should be a regularity, the old adage, to give and to receive. I firmly believe what you put out there eventually comes back four fold.

The purpose and reason why we need Reiki in our lives is the changing of our universe. We as humans have developed our world so much and so fast the real reason why we’re here has been forgotten. We are destroying the energy of our own space in the universe; the animals and plant kingdom are already taking back from us what was rightfully theirs. This is happening by the changes in weather, wars, unrest in the physical and spiritual world. More and more natural healers are being born to earth to raise awareness of the mistakes we’re making.

We may be superior to most but we must never forget whom we owe our place in the world to. We aren’t meant to live forever; there shouldn’t be life at any cost. We were designed to be destructible, to have a shelf life or sell by date. Yes we shall develop always but it must be with out greed and selfishness for our selves. It must be with acceptance of why we are here and find our real purpose for the time we are on this planet. After all I believe this is only a brief taste of our true lives, the rest we have in a better place and time. A classic case of this being shown to us is the Man whose skin fell off. He knew and could see he had a job here and that the best for him was to come. That death is only as certain as life beginning, not to be taken for granted or abused. So Reiki is here to protect us and the planet and universe from our selves. A need to accept the inevitable for us as a race, instead of trying to work against what’s really to be for all of us.

For us to learn to get the most of our journey we’ve been given, and love our own space and respect other people’s space as well. So Reiki is here and growing, in the hopes we can get out there understanding, guidance, love, as love is the energy we all crave to live. This doesn’t choose creed colour or sex its universal life force and lets embrace it to save our selves and generations to come.
