Changes...
The changes reiki continues to make in life
Reiki continues with you as you start you’re Journey through life.
It will affect you in a constant changing sort of way. You outlook on life will change, you’re beliefs will change; I don’t mean your religion although you may feel the need to have a religious base. Reiki is not a religion; many mistake this unlike spiritual healing. The energy for spiritual healing is channeled from the spirit guides of the healer through to the client and some times can have a traumatic effect on both the client and healer. Reiki uses your own energy channel to help the client’s energy channels even out and balance their own energy systems, so to aid their own bodies Healing systems. There’s no pass down of ails and the most the giver will receive is a high feeling afterwards, Elation and perhaps, to a certain extent a buzz.
Your development will incur changes in your relationships, with yourself and others in your surroundings. You will experience calmness, and be less reactive to certain situations. The constant ability to see the bigger picture will grow with you too. Your intuition will grow steadily; you know that little voice that tells you right from wrong. That voice of your own that talks to from the pit of your stomach. You must learn to rely on this, as it’s your higher self telling you. Some times you’ll find your self saying things that your not sure you knew, as if your not thinking from your head anymore but from some place behind your mind. This is all natural development of the path Reiki gives you. You must listen to what your higher self is telling you to do. That gut reaction for everything will prevail in your life. Perhaps the fear of death and illness will fade into oblivion as you realise this isn’t just for now its forever and in the next time. Death is the surest part of life and acceptance of this is so misunderstood. The need to help others that come into your space with whatever problems they may bring, and the intuitive ability to know how to help. But also the ability to know when you can’t help and acceptance that there are those not ready in this lifetime to be helped; And so Reiki goes on. It will harvest lessons for you to learn to aid your self development, but be it never only with the purpose for gratuitous gain, we are honoured with the gifts for richer or poorer, and there must be an exchange even if it be just for the satisfaction of helping another being. Of course as in every thing we need to live but again you won’t need those material items others crave so much for.
And the charge for practitioner I always feel should be based on the client’s need and ability to pay, a sliding scale of exchange is my belief of working. Greed has no part in Reiki.
